018/365 - "zombies will die... AGAIN!"
day 338: "tracking a day". a friend passed along a free program that records your mouse movements graphically. shown as an overlay above is a recording of about 6 hours of work today. the longer the mouse stays still the larger the black spot. the large black circle seen at the bottom left of the photo represents my lunch break today. all the lines represent the movement of the mouse on screen. if i can remember the application i will post the link here later. it is cool to see your day tracked out graphically!

UPDATE: the link to the application is here or google mousepath.jar.
day 323: "on the axe". my wife is addicted to guitar hero. and i think i wrecked her last gig when my flash went off and she missed a few notes! i felt like paparazzi. heheh!
day 290: "who's there?". was out doing laundry in the garage and noticed the condensation on the windows. a balmy 68 inside and 33 outside! figured it would be a cool shot. my youngest daughter was "helping" and got freaked out that someone else was in the garage. i admit it is a bit creepy at times. so i went with the "intruder" shot a bit by setting the timer and hauling rump outside to place a palm on the window. i did this a few times to get the right vibe. eventually i had to shine a flashlight behind my hand to get it to pick up properly. i need to do a few less creepy shots as my wife is starting to complain!
day 254: "laying down lead". always does me good to see my kids drawing and being creative for no particular reason. shown here is my oldest son (my oldest daughter was in the background also drawing). my son was making a comic that involved creepy looking puppet people and my daughter was drawing a "family". she is the normal one!
day 67: it was 92º today in good ol' pennsville when i shot this. the wifey and i were hanging in the back yard killing some ice tea. she was reading and i was sketching out some storyboards for work. i tried to be clever with this one and capture the moment of the day and how relaxing it was. but i think this looks more like a red neck anthem. you have what appears to be jack daniel's in a glass, an empty garden and a fine above-ground pool! i make no apologies! i did have a few shots of the wife's wheels in heels as she was decked out nicely for church this morning but she warned me not to post.
day 38: game night. we are playing farkel. you get 3 turns at rolling 6 dice. it is scored Each 1=100, Each 5=50, Three 1's=1000, Three 2's=200, Three 3's=300, Three 4's=400, Three 5's=500, Three 6's=600. first one to 10,000 wins. you have to get 500 points to get in the game and start adding points. easy to play and great fun for a wide age range. emma is the only one not playing because she tries to eat the dice.
