cornfu > day 352: "striking a pose".
cornfu > day 310: "Christmas Day". my youngest daughter's classic kid reaction! eventually she will hit the "deadpan" teens with the classic poker face. until then i will enjoy her joy! today started off with me running to beat the kids to the tree. then we read the Christmas story from Luke chapter 2. then we finished with gift opening. this day always blazes by and ends with my wife dog tired from being the awesome cook/hostess that she is. Merry Christmas, smugmuggers.
cornfu > day 293: "mouth of pain". my poor girl got her braces today. i get the bill.
cornfu > day 268: "see you later". my little buddy, boo, saying goodbye to me as i left for work. today was a LONG day. full day of work followed by a trip to NYC to the CLIO awards (the first specifically for phamaceutical advertising) . our team was nominated for an interactive piece we did this year. had a great time but was a bit out of my element. didn't get back until late so my post is late. i so wish i had taken my camera. at one point i was outside on top of a building looking at the new yorker building and the city at night! i didn't want to risk taking my camera and not be allowed in with it. oh well.
cornfu > day 243: my daughter discovered the hippity hop ball today and bounced around our living room while us lazy ones watched "Heroes". somehow this hasn't tired her enough for bed!?
cornfu > day 232: "the middles". my oldest son was off practicing his guitar and my youngest daughter was chasing the cat so the middle kids got snagged for a few shots using two off camera flashes. i remote triggered my canon 580 (behind and to the left) through a cheap chinese soup container which triggered an optical sensor attached to a nikon sb 24 with and umbrella to the right. the kids are always good sports when i "volunteer" them for an impromptu shoot.
cornfu > day 199: "live long and prosper... whilst writing on yourself with marker". my daughter has decreased her carbon footprint by using herself as a canvas instead of using paper.
