FAIL. missed the mark on this one but it is growing on me. IF it were crisp and in focus i would have dug it a lot more. it is possible that the lack of focus actually adds to the mystery of the subject and setting. the problem is that it either needs to be more in focus or more intentionally blurred. eager for comments on this one.

note: i had difficulty with this shot. i was out in snow doing a SP and my battery started going and the triggers were not working consistently due to the cold. to boot i had to get close to actually get the trigger to fire and then shuffle back in range of the off-camera flash. THEN periodically someone would drive by and stop out of curiosity... guy in snow at night with shovel and umbrella on stand=strange goings on. so i would have to pause until the headlights were off the scene.
