cornfu > day 266: "miles"
cornfu > day 265: "out of gas".
cornfu > day 264: "bedside". this is my laziest shot EVER. i took my 2 boys to work with me today and they wore me down. i had supper, flopped on the bed and read a few articles from Men's Health about workouts (instead of actually working out) and then took the photo from said location. goodnight.
cornfu > day 263: "evening light". sometimes you just have to forego the creative set up and go with the "now". i was working on a logo for a freelance client and needed to step away for a break. i was instantly calmed by the evening light and fall colors. today was a gorgeous 70 degrees and nothing but blue skies! i basically did a belly crawl in some leaves to get the right view. my favorite season has arrived!
cornfu > day 262: "infected". i have been reading "infected" by scott sigler. in the book one of the telltale signs of alien infection is the growth of blue triangles under the skin on various parts of the body. unfortunately my attempt at this looks like a bad tattoo! making it appear just under the skin looked like an overlay and making it puffy looked too much like a photoshop filter. oh well. a fun attempt nonetheless.
cornfu > day 261: "evening light".
cornfu > day 260: "crown point". took a round about way home tonight and snagged a quick shot of the crown point truck stop in westville, nj. not the sharpest photo but a cool vibe. this place seems to always be open with almost no customers.
cornfu > day 259: "hardware". on my lunch break i took a quick trip down route 1 and turned off olden ave. in trenton looking for a shot. there seems to be a whole lot of people not working in this area. and, honestly, a few of the areas i wanted to take shots of looked like i would be getting shot at. all in all, the area is a total dump unless you enjoy plywood and stripped cars. i am sure at one time this was a gorgeous city. now it rhymes with "city". i plan on making a return to the area.
cornfu > day 258: "LFN". i love my macro lens when i have no ideas for a photo! tomorrow i will attempt to take a lunch trip to trenton to snag some photos while the sun is actually up!
