day 319: "dr who". my family and i are dr. who fans! my daughter was devastated that this was the last season for david tennant as dr. who. she spent the better part of yesterday glued to bbc america watching reruns of last season. so i sketched out a quick drawing of the doctor for her. i did the coloring in photoshop post sketch and photo. basically i created a new layer, set the layer to multiply and then started painting with the brush. i varied brush size and opacity to get a sloppy water color look. i am still battling a cold so rushed both the sketch and the coloring.
