day 289: "zombie youth". got this idea when my cat hopped up in between the shower curtains. it had a cool, hazy creepy feel. so i volunteered my son to pose for this (after i fired my 2 and half year old!). i used a light room preset called "creative catalyst 10" and punched the blacks and contrast a bit more. then i took it into photoshop to add some splatter and duped a layer (set to multiply 60%) and then erased parts of that layer to reveal more detail. i used an off-camera flash set on the floor and bounced off the ceiling. used a shop light hung over the shower curtain to add some opacity to the plastic.

it is almost Christmas yet i am doing yet another zombie photo? they are just too much fun! i may do a week of this to get it out of my system and return to normal.
