day 32: my wife was cleaning the attic the other day and decided to give up some of her childhood toys. i decided to take a few photos for memory sake. needless to say, the raggedy ann has avoided the trash can.

day 31: WHAT? yep, had a lot of fun taking a photo a day for one month. so i am going to keep on rolling and see if i can do a full year. i am curious as to how this will progress. todays photo is of the hotel portion of the abandoned truck stop off of exit 7 of 295. a police officer rolled in to the truck stop to see what i was up to. he was cool about it and warned me about the drug activity. i will be posting more photos from this area in a section named "abandoned".

day 30: second stop of the night. the first location ended in failure as i was supposedly on private property of dupont. a security guard pulled up right as i finished setting up my tripod. i was kindly asked to leave after my drivers license was recorded. the guard was polite and just doing his job but give me a break!? is everyone with a camera a terrorist or some other form of evil doer? i need to set up quicker the next time i stop here.

day 29: not my finest shot but i love comic book shops. stopped her today with a friend to check it out. place is called Comic Relief and is in princeton nj off of route 1.

day 28: today is emma's 2nd birthday so i figured i would shoot a photo of her current favorite toy... a barbie head she carries around with her EVERYWHERE! kind of creepy. add in that she carries the head by the hair.

day 27: Vacancy. empty howard johnson's hotel next to the NJ turnpike on 541. a bit on the creepy side.

day 26: baby feet. they look innocent enough until you get kicked by them at 2 in the morning.

day 25: cold and rainy sunday afternoon in pennsville. i tried to find a simple shot that gave off the feel of today.

day 24: carla and phoebe in our kitchen during emma's early birthday party.
