day 50: a shot of my garage gym. this is what i should be doing this evening but i am going to slack. i cleaned up the garage with the goal of working out pre-summer but life gets in the way! or is that just a cop out?

day 49: it has been one of "those" days when the wife doesn't really want to cook dinner, i am in a hurry to eat and get at some design work due tomorrow morning and the kids ALWAYS want the "king". sorry, tony horton! while waiting for our food i saw the open late sign with the reflection of the still barren tree and thought it was a cool shot. this was shot at the burger king on rt. 49 next to the 95/295 exits in pennsville.

day 48: not the crispest shot but was on route 541 heading home and have been intending on taking this shot of the underneath of the 295 overpass. i love the look of this barren tree sticking up in the middle of concrete and old paint. one day soon i may park and walk up to this spot to take some better shots.

day 47: today's photo is of a sculpture i did and of some blanks i made from a mold. the original was sculpted with super sculpey. the one in the front i painted with some basic acrylic. i have a halogen light backlighting it and i used a standard flashlight from the front. the wife saw this shot and said it "looks like they just got busted". i suppose so.

day 46: after church this morning i held the family hostage and took a detour down Governor Prince Blvd (Claymont Delaware) to the Merchant's Shopping Center which is 90% vacant. There is what i think was an old Macy's being demolished. The shot above is of a strip mall next to the building being brought down. i will post the other photos in the "abandoned" gallery.

day 45: today was a tough call. i took the kids to a doughnut shop and then to fort mott. the doughnut shop photos turned out well but i thought this expressed the day better. it was sunny and windy but a bit on the cool side. the girls were bunkered down in one of the concrete lookouts and getting blasted by wind off the delaware river. we had a great time!

day 44: woke up to overcast, rainy day which inspired today's photo. no flash on this one. natural single light source. simple, lazy.

day 43: i drive by this sign every day leaving work and i laugh. i am not sure who or what this sign is for. can geese read signs? are you not allowed to drop geese off here? is this a protest sign? it is, indeed, a mystery.

day 42: i remember making what we called "cootie catchers" as a kid. i violated Title 18 United States Code, Section 333 and cut a dollar bill to get a nice square to begin folding away. nothing a piece of scotch tape can't fix. no reason behind this shot other than trying something different.
