day 213: gloucester city shamrock festival. The Gloucester City Irish Society hosted the Shamrock Festival today from from 12-7PM. The Shamrock Festival is held at Gloucester City's historic "Proprietor's Park & Marina," which is located along the Delaware Waterfront at 225 South King Street in Gloucester City. pictured here is the group "The Broken Shillelaghs". day 221: today i am a bit stressed as i have work i needed to get finished that isn't going to happen. and my wifi on my macbook is going in and out. argh!? i took a break with the kids and played a little backyard baseball. we had a great time! during that i happen to notice a wildflower garden my 11 year old son planted this year. the morning glories were gorgeous and calming. above is a shot of one of the morning glories closing up shop for the day. ah, the simple joys in life!

day 220: "wood lanes". straight forward shot due to the fact that my blurred version (failed attempt at being creative) got voted down by my wife and kids. today i took my kids to a birthday bowling party for two of their friends at wood lanes in woodstown. i readily opted for driver duty since the option was to help at my wife's yard sale! yep... i am lazy.

day 219: "we all float down here, richie". the wife is throwing a massive yard sale tomorrow and bought balloons to mark the raiding zone. i was avoiding helping her while watching reruns of stargate when i noticed the floating faces. i hand-held the flash off camera at 1/4 power and picked a few angles that looked harsh and off-putting. not as creepy as i was hoping but close enough!

day 218: "tea with a touch of spider". wake. get glass of tea. shower for work. go for big swig of tea. spot spider in glass. squeal like little girl. collect thoughts and get camera.

Not my best, crispest shot, but the fact that i almost downed a spider made this a "Shoo in".

day 217: "Tatum T110". One of the Creative Directors at my job owns a very cool piece of history. Supposedly this stapler is from around the 1940's. I love it's simplicity and art deco lines. I googled the model number but didn't get great results. These staplers were made by the Wilson Jones Company. The Little Buddy by Tatum dominated the web. Unfortunately I am still at work so this is my shot of the day.

day 216: "tastes like chicken". my stupid cat tries to take me down every night... the pay off? gnawing on my foot? not sure that is so great! animal cruelty charges are sure to follow.

day 215: stand-in warrior. i couldn't convince my wife to be a model for tonight's daily photo. so i asked my son to strike a "wolverine-esk" pose. yes, i know wolverine has retractable claws and not Sai but this is the best i could come up with shy of building real claws. we shot quite a few photos despite the mosquitoes and me kicking patio chairs barefoot in the dark. most were too blown out or too dark due to me still not having a clue about lighting! it was fun nonetheless!

day 214: going normal today. the day was gorgeous and so my wife and i spent time sitting in the sun and reading. later i noticed quite a few pine cones stuck to the planet and decided to macro a few. this one works for me since it looks like the back of a stegosaurus.
